The Dua for Happiness and Peace
Translation
O Allah, I rely on You, and I turn to You, and I entrust my affairs to You. I ask You for all that is good, and I seek refuge in You from all that is evil. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety, sorrow, and fear, and from miserliness, cowardice, and laziness. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hellfire. And I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death.

Incident from the Life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
A man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am troubled by my sins and I feel overwhelmed by my mistakes." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) listened to the man's concerns and then said: "Do not be sad, for Allah is merciful and forgiving.
